What LearnHGV is
LearnHGV is an online directory of HGV training providers and a jobs board. We help people find centres and contact them direct. We are not a training school, broker, employment agency, or party to any training or employment contract you enter into with a third party.
Using the site
- Use the site lawfully and fairly.
- Do not scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Do not submit false, misleading, or unlawful listing or job content.
- Do not impersonate another business or person when claiming or listing.
Listings and accuracy
Provider profiles may be unverified, claimed by the provider, or verified by us. Status labels are explained on the site. Information can change; always confirm prices, availability, and course details with the training centre before you pay or book.
Verification never buys a higher place in search. Rank is based on relevance and completeness, not payment for position.
Provider and employer accounts
If you list a centre, claim a listing, or post a job, you confirm you are authorised to act for that organisation and that the information you supply is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your profile and ads up to date. We may edit, unpublish, or remove content that breaches these terms or looks harmful or misleading.
Jobs
Job ads are posted by employers. LearnHGV does not employ drivers through the board and does not guarantee any role. Apply to the employer on the terms they set.
Guides and tools
Guides, calculators, and resource links are for general information. Rules and fees change — check GOV.UK, DVSA, and your training centre for decisions that affect you.
Intellectual property
LearnHGV branding, site design, and our original content are protected. You may not copy the site for a competing directory without permission. Provider and employer logos and copy remain theirs; they grant us a licence to display that material on LearnHGV.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on directory or job information, third-party training or employment outcomes, or temporary unavailability of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you mandatory rights elsewhere in the UK.
