Category C1 covers rigid vehicles between 3.5t and 7.5t. Category C is for larger rigids over 7.5t (often called Class 2). Category C+E (Class 1) adds an articulated trailer combination.
Most new professional drivers targeting artic work progress C first, then C+E. Your career goal and employer requirements should drive the order — not a broker upselling both at once.
Driver CPC is separate from the licence test: initial modules for new professionals, then periodic training hours. Some courses bundle CPC; confirm what is included before you sign.
ADR, HIAB, and forklift are specialist add-ons. Search LearnHGV by category to find providers that actually deliver the qualification you need.
